Founder and President

Craig Deligdish attended college at Johns Hopkins University and graduated from the New York University School of Medicine.  He completed research at the National Cancer Institute, as a member of the Public Health Service before going on to complete an internship and residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital, the Dallas Veterans Administration Medical Center and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas.  Dr. Deligdish completed fellowships in hematology and medical oncology at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.  He has served on the faculty of University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and Harvard Medical School.  At the University of Texas Southwestern, Dr. Deligdish served as the Chief of the General Medicine Section and Associate Chief of Staff for Ambulatory Care at the Dallas Veterans Administration Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology.

Dr. Deligdish relocated to Florida in 1989, where he founded Brevard Hematology Oncology Associates, a single specialty hematology and oncology practice. He subsequently founded OMNI Healthcare in 1994. OMNI Healthcare grew to represent more than 70 physicians specializing in the primary specialties of family practice, internal medicine, surgery and pediatrics as well as physicians with subspecialties in all areas of internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Deligdish founded and chaired the Tumor Board at Holmes Regional Medical Center in 1990, and chaired the Cancer Program at Holmes Regional Medical Center for many years. He is a previous Medical Director of the American Cancer Society and has served on numerous committees at local hospitals in Brevard County, Florida. Dr. Deligdish currently serves on the executive committee of the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology and is a member of the Florida Medical Association and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Deligdish currently serves as the founder and President of Oncology Resource Networks (ORN), a value-based network of oncologists in Florida committed to practicing evidence based, patient-centered oncology. He is Editor in Chief of Value Based Cancer Care, a national oncology publication, and has chaired numerous national oncology conferences.
